We are looking for an experienced and qualified Lift Engineer to join our team, covering the M25 & Home Counties. The role involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of lifts and escalators in various commercial and residential buildings. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation, servicing, and repairs of passenger, goods, and platform lifts.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete repairs promptly.
- Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations, including LOLER and PUWER standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and apprentices.
- Complete all relevant documentation and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a lift engineer.
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification (essential).
- Extensive knowledge of lift systems, including traction and hydraulic lifts.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong adherence to health & safety regulations and best practices.
