Salary: £35,000–£45,000 DOE
Hours: 8:30am–4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The role will involve planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive call-outs, with occasional travel to sites further afield including Brighton, Bristol and Oxford.

The Role

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Attend reactive call-outs and breakdowns

*
Fault finding and diagnosis

*
Repairs and remedial works

*
Complete service reports and job sheets

*
Travel across Kent, London and the Home Counties

*
Occasional overnight stays where required

About You

*
Previous experience in a service and maintenance engineering role

*
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

*
Comfortable working independently on customer sites

*
Good communication and customer service skills

*
Relevant technical qualifications are desirable

*
Full UK driving licence

Call-Out & Overtime

*
Current call-out rota 1 in 4, moving towards 1 in 5

*
£100 retaining fee for each week on call, whether called out or not

Overtime available

*
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate

*
Overnight overtime paid at 2x hourly rate

*
Stay-away allowance xgikmsk paid when required

*
Door-to-door travel time is not normally paid; travel time is only considered payable where an engineer is required to return to the office before travelling home
