We are partnered with a leading national Fire Pump business seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their field-based team. The company specialises in the service, maintenance, and installation of fire pumps, sprinkler systems, and generators, and offers excellent long-term career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out service, maintenance, and installation of fire pumps, generators, and control systems at customer sites
- Diagnose and manage both mechanical and electrical faults independently
- Maintain clear communication with office coordinators and clients regarding job status and findings
- Complete all relevant documentation and compliance records accurately and promptly
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience working on fire pumps, sprinkler systems, diesel generators, or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
- Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics
- Electrical qualifications are beneficial but not essential
- Logical, methodical problem-solving approach
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid CSCS card
