Im currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing fire & security provider operating across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and new installation work coming through, they are looking to add an experienced Security Installation Engineer to their dedicated installations team. This is a permanent opportunity with a business that has a strong reputation in the market, a large and secure customer base, and a genuine focus on training, development, and long-term progression.
The Role
Youll be working as part of a dedicated installation team delivering high-quality security systems across:
- Residential properties
- Small and medium-sized enterprises
- Education sector sites
The role is hands-on and varied, covering installations that can range from single-day jobs to longer, multi-week projects across London and the surrounding counties.
What Youll Be Doing
- Installing intruder alarm systems (primarily Texecom and Pyronix)
- Installing access control and door entry systems, mainly Paxton Net2
- Installing IP and analogue CCTV systems, including Hikvision platforms
- Carrying out structured cabling and second-fix installation works
- Installing dualcom monitoring and associated communication devices
- Completing commissioning and handover documentation
- Working in line with NSI codes of practice for installation, commissioning, and maintenance
- Managing your own workload while working closely with other engineers and support teams
What Theyre Looking For
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Security Installation Engineer
- Strong background in CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms
- Good IP and basic networking knowledge
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills and a professional on-site manner
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage time effectively
- Full manual UK driving licence
- Based within reasonable access to London and the surrounding counties (Kent, Surrey, Sussex)
- Willing to undertake further training and security screening
- NSSA Security Screening is required
