About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Swimming Pool Engineer to join our dynamic team operating across Essex. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial swimming pool systems in various settings, including leisure centres, hotels, and private facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of commercial swimming pools and associated plant equipment.
- Install and commission pool plant equipment, including filtration systems, dosing equipment, heat pumps, and UV systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Perform water quality testing and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (PWTAG guidelines).
- Provide clear reports on site visits, including recommendations for improvements or repairs.
- Liaise with clients to deliver excellent customer service and technical support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Engineer, preferably in commercial environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of swimming pool plant operations, water treatment systems, and mechanical/electrical equipment.
- PWTAG or Pool Plant Operator certification (desirable).
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
