We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fire & security company that is looking to expand its Service Division with an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer. This is a field-based role covering Lancashire, Manchester, and surrounding areas (including Lancaster), working across a varied commercial client base.
The Role
You will be responsible for service, maintenance, reactive, and emergency works, with a strong focus on high-end CCTV and Access Control systems. The role includes working on both standalone and multi-site systems. A good level of IP/networking knowledge is essential, as much of the work involves networked CCTV and access control solutions.
Hours, Callout & Package
- Hours: 08:30 on site 17:00 finish
- Call-out: 1 week in 4
- Travel: First 30 minutes each way unpaid
- Salary: Dependent on the engineer's skill set and experience
- Permanent role with consistent workload

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience servicing commercial fire and security systems
- Strong CCTV and Access Control background
- Good IP and networking knowledge
- Confident fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to take part in a 1-in-4 call-out rota
- Professional and customer-focused approach
