An established engineering company specialising in water and wastewater pumping systems is looking to recruit experienced Electrical/Mechanical Pump Engineers due to continued business growth. The Role
- Installation, service and maintenance of commercial and private pumping stations.
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding on pumps, control panels and associated equipment.
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work.
- Installation of pumps, valves, pipework and control systems.
- Working across a range of sectors including local authorities, utilities, leisure and commercial sites.
- Completing job reports electronically and maintaining van stock.
- Occasional overnight stays and emergency call-outs.
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience servicing, repairing or installing pumps or similar rotating equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on pumping stations, wastewater, drainage or water treatment equipment.
- Able to read technical drawings and use hand and power tools confidently.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.
- 17th/18th Edition, CSCS, First Aid or Confined Space certifications are advantageous, although training can be provided.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
