About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Component Overhaul Technician to join our team, specialising in the inspection, repair, and overhaul of helicopter components. This position involves working in a high-quality, purpose-built workshop equipped to handle detailed repairs, testing, and maintenance tasks. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team of technicians and inspectors, carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks, from visual inspections to precise repairs and spray painting. While some specific training will be provided, a strong background in aircraft maintenance is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on helicopter components to exacting standards.
- Work closely with a team of highly skilled technicians in a fully equipped workshop environment.
- Handle spray painting and other detailed component work as needed.
- Complete accurate documentation for all inspections, measurements, and repairs.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Aircraft Maintenance Experience: Previous experience in aircraft maintenance, particularly with helicopters, is required.
- Hands-On Skills and Attention to Detail: Enjoys hands-on work and has a keen eye for precision and quality.
- Spray Painting Skills: Experience in spray painting is highly desirable.
- Broader Maintenance Knowledge: Previous experience with the maintenance of vehicles, equipment, or similar components would be advantageous.
