Join our specialist TV media buying and production agency as a Senior Account Manager/Media Analyst, where you’ll have the opportunity to quickly build and broaden your skill set.

SmartResponse Media is a full-service direct response television (DRTV) agency, delivering end-to-end solutions including TV advert creative production, media planning and buying for both shortform and longform airtime, and advanced campaign analysis for a diverse range of clients. Founded in 2015, we are an independent company working with a mix of well-known household brands as well as ambitious start-ups.

DRTV is primarily a performance marketing media, as such analysis forms a core part of any Account Management role & any successful candidate will therefore have an aptitude for numbers and be able to read into analysis to inform campaign optimisations for our clients. Role Overview

The role involves leading client relationships and campaign performance across Direct response TV campaigns. This role blends account management, media analytics, end-to-end campaign delivery, including oversight of the creative, production, and Clearcast clearance process. You’ll act as the central point of contact for clients while ensuring campaigns are strategically planned, compliant, effectively executed and continuously optimised for performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management and Strategy
    • Manage day-to-day relationships with DRTV clients.
    • Understand client objectives, KPIs, and commercial targets.
    • Present campaign strategies, performance updates, and media buying recommendations.
    • Identify growth opportunities and upsell additional services to present to senior leadership bi-monthly.
    • Ensure campaigns go live accurately and on schedule.
    • Troubleshoot issues across media, tracking, or creative delivery.
  • Media Planning and Buying
    • Develop and manage DRTV media plans across linear TV, VOD and CTV.
    • Monitor delivery against plan and adjust schedules to maximise ROI.
  • Performance Analysis
    • Produce regular reporting and actionable insights.
    • Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly client business review meetings.
    • Optimise campaigns based on data trends and testing frameworks.
  • Creative and Production Oversight
    • Collaborate with the internal creative team to lead clients through the creative development process, from briefing to final delivery.
    • Oversee timelines, budgets and approvals across each stage of production process.
    • Present weekly update on production timelines to senior management.
    • Ensure creative aligns with performance objectives and DRTV best practices.
    • Manage submission and approval process with Clearcast, ensuring all TV advertising complies with UK broadcast regulations.
    • Work closely with Clearcast to address feedback on scripts and claims, secure approvals, and minimise delays to airtime.
    • Coordinate testing of multiple creatives and messaging variants.
    • Manage all communication with Clients for approval of all elements of creative process including talent, locations, Clearcast updates, rough cuts and final clearance.
    • Update Monday.com and Gantt Charts on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that all staff are updated as to progress of creative process.
    • Attend Client production shoots as needed, providing hands-on support to the creative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Dependent on experience, includes generous Profit Related Bonus scheme and additional employee benefits.
