A global manufacturing leader is seeking an exceptional Process Engineer to join its division based in Crewkerne. This site represents the cutting edge of innovation in hydraulic valve technology, serving major international customers with both next-generation and enhanced legacy solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Optimising and improving manufacturing processes with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency across machining operations.
- Leading and supporting Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives — from waste reduction to process standardisation and shop floor optimisation.
- Managing and contributing to New Product Introduction (NPI) and localisation projects, ensuring seamless handover from design to production.
- Ensuring full compliance with EHS and ISO standards, supporting audits, and promoting strong 5S and change management practices.
- Delivering hands-on, data-driven process engineering support, using analytical tools and systems to identify and implement impactful improvements.

- Proven experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong background in Continuous Improvement and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments – hydraulic systems knowledge is highly advantageous.
- Excellent data analysis and Excel skills to support process and performance improvements.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional passionate about driving efficiency and innovation.
