THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and passionate lawyer to join our expanding Legal Team to advise on commercial contracts, procurement contracts and commercial law in a fast paced and growing business.
Responsibilities
- Advising and negotiating a range of commercial contracts including Non-Disclosure Agreements, supplier contracts (IT and non-IT) and technology contracts.
- Support other members of the team in negotiating and advising on platform-as-a-service agreements issued to our platform clients.
- Provide high quality, business focused legal support directly to a growing and developing global business through a strong understanding of both legal requirements and commercial implications.
- Liaise with all stakeholders including clients and suppliers with the ability to influence such stakeholders.
- Advise the business on legal interpretations, internal standards and practices, new business initiatives and other commercial and regulatory matters.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and be a trusted legal adviser.
- Provide legal training to the business and be a knowledge-hub of best practices.
- Support the implementation of improved processes including the creation and implementation of contract templates and playbooks.
- Support the team’s legal operations and workflow management.
Who We Are Looking For

- 2 years PQE with a strong background in commercial law and experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Confident and pragmatic approach to problem solving and managing legal risk.
- Be highly motivated to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment and for a growth business.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and to deliver as an individual contributor within the legal team.
- Comfortable managing internal and external stakeholders including our senior leadership team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
