The predicted salary is between 50000 - 70000 € per year.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, reporting into the Chief Investment Officer. The role will own the end-to-end investment risk and governance framework for the Scheme, provide oversight of investment strategy, managers and risks, and deliver reporting to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery and development of the investment governance and risk frameworks.
- Oversee investment managers and providers, performing regular reviews and due diligence in line with the governance framework.
- Coordinate with the Scheme’s investment advisers on delivery of ongoing work and key projects.
- Support onboarding of new investment managers and providers, ensuring adherence to mandates and objectives.
- Oversee and deliver all investment reporting, including performance, governance, risk, and ESG reporting (e.g. TCFD and Stewardship Code).
- Lead on investment requirements for the upcoming Value for Money (VFM) framework.
- Ensure fee transparency across service providers and monitor investment costs.
- Present to stakeholders, including the Investment Sub-Committee and Trustee Board, on investment governance and risk management.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement on governance and risk oversight, including new initiatives such as private markets.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, advisers and the Trustee Board.
Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of the UK DC investment market.
- Experience in investment governance and oversight of investment managers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent presentation and analytical skills.
- Strong team player.
