- This is a generalised role for someone with a strong organisational streak, and keen aptitude with data and information systems.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Curate and govern research data: manage the lifecycle of complex, unstructured research datasets, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Coordinate content updates across platforms (e.g., internal knowledge bases, dashboards, microsites, Google Sheets and NotebookLM), working with stakeholders to gather, format, and publish information.
- Process and clean raw data using tools like spreadsheets, preparing it for analysis or reporting.
- Develop and document standards, processes, and governance policies for content and data management, covering best practices and system usage.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of quality under tight deadlines.
Skills About You
You are highly organised, meticulous, and comfortable handling large volumes of information. You have a natural curiosity about how data systems work and are always looking for ways to make processes more efficient. You are a reliable and effective communicator who can translate technical data concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
Experience What You’ll Need
Your experience is key but your attitude is what sets you apart.
Essential:
- Proven experience in a content management, data entry, or administrative role with a focus on data.
- Expert proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets), including functions, pivot tables, and data validation.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and correcting data inaccuracies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of how to simplify data for the end user, allowing them to make quick decisions, whilst working at pace – whether this be through charts and/or summarising in a clean, meticulous way.
Desirable:
- Comfortable and familiar with basic querying and data manipulation.
- Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
- Experience with data governance best practices.
- Familiarity with version control and modern documentation practices.
