Some exciting opportunities have arisen to join Digital Five, a growing communications company that specialises in providing telecommunications, VoIP (cloud), broadband and media solutions to customers nationwide. Based in our brand-new offices in Dibden Purlieu (free parking!), you will be involved in working as a key member of our customer service team.
The role:
- Processing orders for our existing and new customers.
- Technical support to configure new services with our customers (remotely).
- Provide first and second line customer service and technical calls.
- To diagnose a range of faults such as VoIP, Broadband, WLR/PSTN, ISDN, ADSL, FTTCL.
- Liaise with relevant telecommunications companies such as BT Openreach/Gamma.
- Handling customer enquiries, identifying sales opportunities, liaising with suppliers.
- Log faults with the relevant carriers/suppliers and keep customers up to date.
- Assist with out of hours support on a rota basis.
The candidate must have:
- Above all, an excellent telephone manner as most of our customer contact is by phone.
- An “Inbuilt desire” to help, fix and provide solutions that work for all parties to a satisfactory close.
- Good IT skills, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc. Full training will be provided on our own bespoke systems.
- This role would suit Telecoms and/or IT support desk candidates, an IT Graduate or someone who is technically minded. Previous telecoms support experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with Data input and fulfilling verbal instruction from customers and colleagues.
- The ability to be firm but friendly when dealing with technical issues or complaints, some experience of this would be an advantage.
Package:
- A basic starting salary of £25-£28k depending on experience.
- 20 days paid holiday + Bank Holidays per annum.
