Do you want to make a difference? Then, why not become a Trustee or a school governor? This exciting opportunity is for people who share our passion for improving the life chances of all children and who will help us shape the future direction of education in South East Cornwall. We are looking for those with at least three years experience in either a governance role and/or data analysis. We would be particularly interested in volunteers who have some time available during the working day.

- Confident – Of an independent mind, able to lead and contribute to courageous conversations, to express their opinion and to play an active role on the board.

Governance Responsibilities
- Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
- Hold the Executive Team to account for the educational performance of the school/Trust
- Oversee the financial performance of the school/Trust and make sure its money is well spent
The Trust serves a vibrant rural community and is committed to providing the best possible learning experiences for pupils and students in our schools Dobwalls, Landulph and Trewidland Primary and Liskeard, Looe and Saltash Secondary. Collectively we have approximately 3,000 students, 450 staff and a budget of £17m. Location: Plymouth, England, United Kingdom.
