SMS are recruiting an experienced Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Driver to join one of our high-profile automotive manufacturing clients. This role involves supporting production and warehouse operations by safely transporting materials, components, and finished parts across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT to move materials safely around production and storage areas
- Supplying components to assembly and manufacturing lines
- Loading and unloading vehicles, containers, and stillages
- Transporting finished products to despatch areas
- Stock movement, allocation and scanning where required
- Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping, and equipment checks
- Working to set production schedules and supporting wider warehouse tasks when required
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence (NPORS / ITSSAR / RTITB accepted)
- Previous FLT experience in manufacturing, automotive, or warehouse environments
- Ability to follow safe systems of work and complete daily FLT checks
- Good teamwork, communication, and reliability
Working Hours: Dayshift - 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: Β£12.96 per hour
