Overview We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Gateshead, who are looking to appoint an experienced CMM Operator to join their team. Key Responsibilities * Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using ZEISS CALYPSO/MCOSMOS software as applicable. * Carry out accurate dimensional inspection of manufactured components in line with customer and internal specifications. * Undertake visual and dimensional inspections using a range of manual measuring equipment. * Interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation. * Review and verify inspection and measurement reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from specified requirements. * Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. * Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve measurement and quality issues. * Support the development and improvement of inspection methods and processes. * Ensure all inspection equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working condition. * Work to company quality standards and customer-specific requirements at all times. * Be willing to work overtime when required to meet customer demands and production requirements.
