Smart Manufacturing Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fabricator to join the production team.

You'll be responsible for manufacturing high-quality products from engineering drawings while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Fabricate components to the required quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets drawing specifications and company quality procedures.
  • Complete production paperwork accurately and record stock where required.
  • Remove burrs and ensure all parts are clearly identified.
  • Prepare and palletise finished products for the next stage of production.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Carry out routine equipment maintenance checks.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Complete additional duties within your competency as required by Team Leaders or Management.

Requirements

  • Previous fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work safely, independently, and efficiently to meet production targets.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of production when required.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
  • Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Working Hours
  • Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm
