Be part of the Smart Team! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Maintenance Operative to work on an exciting contract in South Kensington. This role consists of a Monday - Friday 07:00-16:00/ 08:00-17:00 & 10:00-19:00 working pattern.

Purpose: As a General Maintenance Operative, you will help ensure facilities operate smoothly and meet service level expectations. You will carry out routine maintenance and reactive repairs including painting, decorating, minor plumbing, and general DIY. You will work with the engineering team to deliver planned and reactive tasks, maintain accurate records, and uphold a safe environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine and reactive maintenance tasks in line with Service Level Agreements, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, general DIY, lamp and tube replacements, and cleaning of lighting diffusers, to maintain service levels and an attractive environment.
- Safely load, unload, and store stock, equipment, spares, and deliveries.
- Support the Smart Managed Solutions engineering team with planned and reactive works that meet or exceed service levels and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive maintenance records and build strong working relationships with Smart Managed Solutions and client staff.
- Promote a safe, healthy working environment and comply with all company and client policies, presenting a professional image and delivering excellent customer service.
- Commit to ongoing personal development and learning to maintain competence across all tasks.
Education and Training:
Plumbing Level 1 or 2.
