A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join us on a prestigious contract in Enfield. This opportunity consists of a Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 working pattern. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out PPM, reactive and breakdown works to all electrical and mechanical systems within the site.
- Demonstrating relevant knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems, including the ability to fault find using graphical information and current alarm data.
- Operating and managing all engineering assets to support the business with no unplanned disruptions in the most cost-effective manner.
- Developing management tools to actively report on asset and building performance and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensuring that routine PPM is carried out to all electrical and mechanical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
- Completing reactive tasks throughout the building and proactively highlighting areas for improvement.
- Swiftly remedying plant faults and defects to maintain plant in serviceable order.
- Ensuring suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
- Providing parts inventory and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
- Keeping the Computer Based Maintenance system, e.g. Concept, Smart Hub, up to date and ensuring PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
- Completing all relevant paperwork regarding reactive and breakdown works and passing it without delay to the contract administrator.
- Preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times.
- Ensuring that all plant rooms under the responsibility of SMART are locked at all times and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Education and Training:
- Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations or the equivalent NVQ and Building Services maintenance.
