Be part of the Smart Team! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join us on a prestigious contract. This is a Monday - Friday opportunity working 08:00-17:00. Location: Manchester. Van & Fuel Card included.

Role Purpose: As a Van Mobile Engineer at Smart Managed Solutions, you will operate and manage all engineering assets to support the business with no unplanned disruptions in the most cost-effective manner. Manage reactive works process to ensure requests are responded to and closed out in accordance with agreed procedures. To develop management tools to actively report on asset and building performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all electrical and mechanical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
- Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
- Ensure Computer Based Maintenance system, e.g. Concept, Smart Hub, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times.
- Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of Smart are locked always and are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 Electrical Installations or equivalent
- 17th/ 18th Edition
