Role Purpose: As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure all relevant works are carried out on electrical and mechanical systems (PPM and reactive maintenance), liaise and book in contractors, troubleshoot / fault find on systems, liaise with the client and respond to their needs.
As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (C&G/EAL/NVQ or equivalent), have at least 5 years experience working within commercial maintenance, and possess a good understanding of commercial M&E systems.
Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
- Conducting client meetings
- Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary.
Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations / Engineering
- Building Services Maintenance experience
