We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our high-profile contract in North Acton. This role has a Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 working pattern.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all environmental conditions and critical building systems are maintained to the highest standard. You will carry out PPM, reactive and breakdown work on all mechanical systems, with knowledge of HVAC, hot & cold-water systems and generators, and the ability to fault-find using graphical and alarm data. Basic electrical knowledge is desirable.
- Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
- Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
- Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and client representatives and ensure professional image of Smart Managed Solutions.
- Supervise and monitor sub-contractors works whilst they are on site.
- Promote safe practices with correct PPE and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Education and Training:
- Formally trained in a mechanical engineering discipline (e.g. HVAC, Plumbing) to City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 2.
