Purpose
To supervise day-to-day operation of the day shift carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to building systems within contracted area of responsibility.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
- Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
- To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
Experience (Essential):
- Experience of maintaining tight humidity & temperature control conditioned environments.
- General all-round knowledge of Heating & Ventilation / Air Conditioning and building support systems and their methods of control.
- Experience on CAFM system.
- Experience of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria.
Requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 Electrical Installations or equivalent 17th/18th Edition.
