We are currently looking to recruit a SHEQ Technician. The successful applicant will have a genuine desire to progress in the critical area of SHEQ. This is a key role in the implementation, support and maintenance of the SHEQ Management system and all formal accreditations. Daily tasks are varied, and can include inspection of products (components and finished goods), basic laboratory analysis, product testing, and auditing.
- Product inspection and testing (Quality / Compliance)
- Investigating Customer complaints, supplier and internal N/C‘s
- Investigate SHE accidents or incidents, including root cause analysis
- Auditing internal processes and suppliers
- Provide SHEQ related support to Production and Maintenance Dept‘s
- Control and complete analysis of Production quality records & checklists
Skills/Experience:
- Proficient level of IT competence - SAP experience would be advantageous
- Competence in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a SHEQ function
- Polite & professional personal skills
- Good organisational & prioritising skills
Individual Requirements:
- Self-motivated; Pro-active
- Enthusiastic and willing to succeed
- Good communicator; ability to work as part of a team
- Personable manner and presentation
