Cookstown Dairy Services specialises in the offering sales, installation, service and support of dairy farm equipment and technology. This ranges from milking equipment to health and fertility monitoring and milk cooling solutions. CDS prides itself in offering its solutions to dairy farmers of all sizes. The company was established in the mid-eighties and is now one of the leading milking equipment suppliers to the North East and all of Northern Ireland.
We are currently looking to recruit Service Engineers to join our team in Coleraine. The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Provision of remote and onsite service & support to customers. The role involves identifying, troubleshooting and resolving customer technical problems.
- Working daily with electronics and mechanical devices.
- Installation & Maintenance of dairy equipment (parlours, feeding systems, etc.)
- Troubleshooting and working within a team.
- Deliver customer satisfaction by providing a professional service with swift and accurate resolution to customer issues.
- To provide 24hr breakdown support to customers on a rota basis.
Minimum requirements:
- Technical ability
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers
- Clean driver licence
- Willingness to work outside hours/ Provide technical support
- Background or interest in engineering, agriculture and/or in the dairy industry an advantage.
