At Northampton High School, we are pioneers in girls’ education and aim to reshape the future of learning itself. We are looking for a Part time Teacher of Food and Nutrition to join our team. The vacancy provides the opportunity for a well-qualified, inspirational teacher of Food and Nutrition within the wider Creative Arts Faculty, to teach Food across the Senior School as part of our creative and technology circus subjects, and the popular Food and Nutrition GCSE at Year 10-11.

We are looking for a well-qualified graduate with a passion for teaching and excellent subject knowledge of Food and Nutrition teaching. You will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a commitment to continuing professional development, as well as being efficient and organised. She/he will be an excellent communicator who can enthuse and inspire both pupils and colleagues and will have exciting ideas about Food and Nutrition teaching and the ways in which it can be further developed and encouraged across the whole school and with a view to showcasing career opportunities to pupils.

You will help develop engaging schemes of work, support the programme of trips and visits and be committed to supporting the vibrant extracurricular life of the school.
