Moulding Operative
The Company:

Job Summary:
\\n
The successful individual will work as part of a team and will operate the moulding plant machinery to produce our products to the standards required.
\\n
Responsibilities:
\\n
- \\n
- Operating the pre-expander to fill the EPS silo capacity to maintain material supply
- Operating the moulding machinery to meet customer demand and maintain Kanban levels
- Calibration checks on the products, recording output and quality data
- Carrying out mandatory safety checks on the machine including daily maintenance and housekeeping duties to 5S standards
- Monitoring the safe operation of the steam plant and its boiler safety systems
- Safely managing the water treatment and chemical testing, awareness of the plant room operation, boiler operation and start up and shutdown procedures
- Working to Lean Manufacturing Standards and process controls
- You would also be responsible for all safety systems, reactive maintenance, breakdowns and risk management and have a high level of EPS processing knowledge

Vacancy: Moulding Operative
Salary: £13.25 per hour, plus 20% uplift when working a standard rotating shift and 40% when working a 24-hour rotating shift.
Hours: Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift, 6.00am – 2:30pm and 2:00pm to 10:30pm on alternate weeks, with occasional 12-hour night shifts during peak demand. In exceptional circumstances we may work on a weekend.
