Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Settlements Coordinator?
Are you detail-driven and process-oriented with a knack for managing documentation and credit workflows? We’re looking for a Settlements Coordinator to join our operations team, supporting the novated leasing process before and after settlement—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every step of the way.
This is a customer-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives in customer service, managing documentation, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring all settlement processes are completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support the credit application process for customers
- Support with setting up Novated Leasing accounts at post-settlement
- Liaise with customers, financiers, employers, and dealers to ensure documentation is complete and compliant as required
- Attend to both inbound and outbound customer calls and emails
- Monitor and follow up customer requests with internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient service delivery
- Ensure all data entry and system updates are accurate and aligned with compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to support seamless post-sale fulfilment
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy and regulatory requirements
What you will bring:
- 1+ year experience in finance, or compliance-based role
- Proven Customer Service experience and ability
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Familiarity with credit application processes or leasing documentation (preferred)
- Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
- Proficiency with internal systems and documentation workflows
