We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Novated Leasing Product team, supporting the delivery of customer-focused digital and platform solutions within a fast-paced customer centric environment.
About the role
As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in analysing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting squads to deliver high-quality solutions iteratively. You’ll work across multiple products and platforms, translating business needs into clear user stories and helping squads deliver value sprint by sprint.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement
- Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog items in line with Agile ways of working
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Testers and UX designers within cross‑functional squads
- Analyse business processes and data to identify gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies
- Translate technical concepts into clear business language (and vice versa)
- Maintain documentation and knowledge bases using JIRA and Confluence
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ways of working
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- Financial services experience (highly regarded)
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience working across multiple products, platforms or squads
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering value
- Exposure to digital products or platforms
