Following the announcement of a joint venture between Broadwick and Smart Group to develop an exciting new catering brand, we are recruiting for an Event Sales Manager to join the team ahead of our September 2026 launch. The brand name and identity will be revealed in July 2026.

The new business will operate as the exclusive food and beverage partner across Broadwick's London portfolio, spanning venues including 26 Leake Street, Banking Hall, Broadwick Studio, Control Room A, Drumsheds, Exhibition White City, Landing Canary Wharf, Landing Forty Two, Magazine London, OXO2, The Pelligon and Troxy — a portfolio that hosts more than 2,500 events annually.

The Event Sales Manager will be a key member of the commercial team, taking ownership of a portfolio of venues and responsible for converting enquiries, managing client relationships and overseeing the planning of events through to completion. This is a hands-on, sales-led role with a strong focus on revenue generation, account management and delivering an outstanding client experience. This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new business at the very start, helping to shape how it goes to market and set the standard for client experience from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales & Revenue Generation
    • Drive revenue through strong conversion of enquiries and proactive business development.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of your pipeline, conversion rates and key opportunities in the CRM.
    • Contribute to regular reporting on performance, maintaining clear visibility of your pipeline, activity and results.
    • Take personal ownership of enquiries, managing them proactively and converting them into confirmed, profitable events.
  • Business Development, Key Client & Venue Accounts Management
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, brand and cultural sectors.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, agents and key clients.
    • Lead and support pitches and key opportunities.
    • Manage a portfolio of client accounts across Broadwick venues and partners, building strong and lasting relationships.
    • Collaborate with venue teams to maximise opportunities, develop competitive proposals and represent Broadwick Hospitality with confidence.
    • Ensure consistency in how the brand is presented to clients.
    • Ensure a seamless handover between sales and planning stages, keeping the client fully informed and confident at every step.
    • Develop compelling proposals and event plans, ensuring client briefs are clearly understood and translated into deliverable, creative solutions.
  • Client Journey & Planning
    • Manage the full client journey from initial enquiry through to event completion, maintaining excellent communication throughout.
    • Produce accurate event documentation including event sheets, schedules and operational briefs.
    • Ensure all client requirements are captured, including guest experience, timings, staffing and logistics.
    • Liaise with the kitchen team on menu planning to ensure it reflects the brief and budget.
    • Act as the client's point of contact on site at events where required, providing reassurance, resolving any issues and ensuring the event is delivered in line with expectations.
    • Ensure all dietary requirements and allergens are accurately managed.
    • Attend and oversee client tastings where required.
    • Work through the planning process methodically, ensuring all details are confirmed accurately and in good time ahead of each event.
    • Ensure clear and detailed handover to operations to support smooth delivery on site.
  • CRM, Data and Reporting
    • Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date, ensuring all enquiries, proposals and client activity are logged consistently.
    • Provide regular updates on your pipeline and performance to support the wider team's reporting and forecasting.
    • Ensure Finance has the information required for each confirmed event, including final numbers, revenue and any changes to scope.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in a sales or commercial role within catering, hospitality or events.
  • Comfortable managing the full client journey from enquiry through to event delivery, including planning and on-site presence.
  • Strong track record of driving revenue and hitting targets.
  • Confident working independently and managing your own workload across multiple events and clients simultaneously.
  • Good commercial understanding including pricing and margins.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
