- Building and maintaining long‑term employer relationships
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth learner journey from enquiry to enrolment
Key areas of focus:
- Identifying apprenticeship opportunities with employers
- Qualifying opportunities and booking meetings directly into the diaries of our Business Development Managers
- Supporting the conversion of opportunities into apprenticeship starts
- Generating opportunities for ACS renewals and other private commercial training programmes
- Booking learners directly onto courses using our internal systems
MLP Work Placements:
- Identifying employers willing to offer work placements for Managed Learning Programme (MLP) candidates
- Arranging meetings for the MLP Sales Team
- Coordinating interviews between employers and MLP candidates
- Supporting progression opportunities from Bootcamps and Adult Skills Fund (ASF) programmes into employment and apprenticeships
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a sales, business development, recruitment, or employer engagement role
- Confidence using phone, email, and social media as outreach tools
- Familiarity with platforms such as LinkedIn and WhatsApp
- Experience or strong interest in content creation and social selling
- Comfortable using or learning CRM and sales tools (e.g. HubSpot, Lusha, SalesQL, Apollo)
- Target-driven with a proactive, energetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine interest in education, skills, and workforce development
- Experience in apprenticeships, training, or education sector
- Knowledge of government-funded programmes including Apprenticeships, Bootcamps and Adult Skills Fund provision
Salary and benefits:
- £28,000 base salary plus uncapped performance bonus
- Highly achievable bonus scheme with clear targets and strong earning potential
- Career progression opportunities within a growing business
- 25 days holiday plus public and bank holidays
- Birthday and Christmas Eve off
- Life insurance
- Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay
- Sick pay
- Employee Assistance Programme
Our bonus structure rewards both activity and results, with incentives linked to achieving apprenticeship meeting targets for Business Development Managers, generating private commercial income through ACS renewals and other training programmes, achieving monthly MLP work placement targets, and supporting learner progression into employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
