Job Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience within a UK school setting (mainstream or SEN) as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Role responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Support pupils with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and wider staff teams as a SEN Teaching Assistant
