Overview
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 to work with students aged with complex SEN needs and a valid EHC plan. This is a permanent position starting in January in Birmingham, supporting both academic and vocational learning pathways.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months UK experience working with SEN pupils
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualificationExperience supporting pupils with complex needs
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
- Ability to work effectively within small groups and one-to-one settings
- Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Role Responsibilities
- Support students in both academic and vocational pathways according to individual learning plans
- Assist with teaching, practical activities, and life skills development
- Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to students complex needs
- Encourage independence, communication, and social skills
- Liaise with teachers, therapists, and external professionals as required
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
