Teaching Assistant – Level 2/3 (SEN Support)

Smart Education is recruiting Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEND primary school. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils with complex needs are supported to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEN, a patient and proactive approach, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Job Requirements:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school environment
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour
• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references

Role Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom support to pupils with SEN and complex needs
• Assist with individual learning plans and personalised interventions
• Support social, emotional, and academic development
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
