Job Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Minimum 6 months UK experience in a Primary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Confident and supporting with learning and behaviour
- Enhanced Child or Child and Adult DBS on the Update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- SEN Experience desirable
Role responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Maintain a safe, positive and productive classroom
- Work collaboratively with Teachers, support staff and SEN teams
- Follow school policies and expectations
- Working with pupils in class, small groups and 1:1
- Working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
