This rewarding role involves working with pupils aged 5-11 who experience a range of additional needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD).

Your Role Will Include:

  • Teaching across the primary curriculum, adapting lessons to individual needs
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

  • Working closely with SENCOs, Teaching Assistants, and wider staff to support each learner holistically
  • Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with additional needs, preferably in SEN, PRU, or alternative provision settings
  • A creative, patient, and flexible teaching approach
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • A passion for inclusive education and empowering every child
