Job Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Minimum 6 months UK experience in a Primary school
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and support their individual learning and development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable approach, with a commitment to promoting inclusion and helping every child achieve their potential
