Contract: Permanent, Part-time (Monday, Tuesday & Friday)

Salary: £21,606 - £23,969 (FTE), £12,963 - £14,381 (Actual 3 days)

Smart Education is seeking a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive KS2 team within a specialist setting in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. This is a permanent part-time position, ideal for candidates who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and who thrive in a nurturing, child-focused environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience supporting KS2 or SEND pupils preferred

  • Ability to build trusting relationships with children
  • Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support to KS2 pupils
  • Assist with individual learning plans and targeted interventions
  • Help deliver engaging lessons and activities
  • Support pupils with communication, social development and emotional needs
  • Work closely with teachers and wider SEND staff
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment
