Pay Rate: Teacher Main Scale 1 6 (£32,916 £45,352 FTE) + SEN Allowance (£2,679)

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher (PMLD) for a permanent role starting in January, based within a specialist educational setting in the Stratford-upon-Avon area.

Job Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching pupils with complex ASD, PMLD or non-verbal needs (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of personalised learning and SEND
  • Resilient, creative and committed to inclusive practice
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver adaptive, high-quality teaching for pupils with complex needs
  • Plan and assess learning using personalised approaches
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence and emotional wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals
