Pay Rate: £95.15 - £110.18 per day

We are recruiting a resilient and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to start in June, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a specialist setting. This is a full-time role working closely with pupils who may present challenging behaviour, supporting both their learning and emotional wellbeing in a structured and supportive environment.

About the Role:

  • As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to provide tailored support that helps pupils engage positively with education and develop confidence, resilience, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Assisting with learning activities across the curriculum
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Supporting pupils wellbeing and engagement in school
