Smart Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary specialist SEN schools throughout Northampton and the surrounding areas. We are looking for motivated, reliable and nurturing individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
We have roles available in both mainstream and specialist provisions, supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and moderate to complex learning difficulties.

The Role
You may be required to:
- Provide classroom-based support alongside the teacher
- Deliver 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Assist with targeted interventions and adapted learning activities
- Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Patient, adaptable and resilient
- Confident supporting children with additional needs
- Experienced working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
- Passionate about inclusive education
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), and we must be able to obtain recent references.
