The Role
You will be working within a specialist setting, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs alongside associated behavioural challenges. This role suits a resilient and empathetic teacher, able to create a calm, structured learning environment and motivate pupils in need of additional support to reach their full potential.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Develop positive relationships that encourage engagement and learning
- Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other professionals
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
- At least 6 months’ experience within an SEN or SEMH setting
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months

Salary: £140 - £253 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)
Start Date: 1st September 2026
