Job Title: Catering Supervisor
Pay Rate: Β£15.28 per hour
Location: Kings Norton
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (Monday to Friday, 7.15am β 2.15pm)
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Catering Supervisor to join a specialist educational provision in Kings Norton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced catering professional to lead a school kitchen and contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of students.

Requirements
- Proven experience in large-scale catering operations
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Supervising Food Safety in Catering
- Up-to-date Food Allergy Awareness certificate (must include Natasha s Law)
- Strong knowledge of allergen management and food labelling legislation
- Ability to manage a small team with positivity and efficiency
- Basic ICT skills (e.g., Word, email, internet navigation)
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and service across the school day
- Supervise a small team, ensuring high standards and a positive kitchen culture
