Smart Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager on behalf of a welcoming nursery setting in Stourbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and values-led organisation dedicated to creating inclusive and nurturing environments where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of a busy 60-place nursery, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and early years education are consistently maintained. You will lead and inspire the nursery team, support staff development, and create a positive and engaging environment for both children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery team
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery
- Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards
- Support and mentor staff through coaching and development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Drive continuous improvement and outstanding practice within the setting

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
- Relevant childcare qualification
- A proactive, caring, and team-focused approach
