Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Tutor to work in Perry Barr.

Job Requirements of a Tutor:
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to acquire one
- Have a (QTS / QTLS / PGCE), Subject Specialism or tuition experience supporting with English, Maths and/or Science
- A minimum of 1 year teaching or tutoring UK experience
- Experience, Knowledge and Understanding of working with children/young people with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH)
Role Responsibilities of a Tutor:
- Being a tutor involves working in a home setting; this may be the family home or a residential setting for LAC.
- You will be working 1:1 with students from various backgrounds and differentiating needs; students' ages can range from key stage 1 to further education depending on where your experience is best suited.
- Developing personalised learning strategies for students who are out of mainstream education.
- Supporting a young person's re-engagement in education.
All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. It is an offense to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity to children.
