Pay Rate: £95.23 - £107.13

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Smart Education is currently recruiting a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11 to 19 in Wolverhampton. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with students who have a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring that every learner can access education in a way that meets their individual needs.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and support teams to assist pupils with a variety of needs, including:

  • SpLD: Specific Learning Difficulty
  • VI: Visual Impairment
  • HI: Hearing Impairment
  • SLCN: Speech, Language and Communication Needs
  • ASD: Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • SEMH: Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • PD: Physical Disability
  • MLD: Moderate Learning Difficulty
  • SLD: Severe Learning Difficulty
  • PMLD: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty
  • OTH: Other Difficulty/Disability

You will support students both individually and in small groups, helping them to develop confidence, communication, and independence while encouraging positive engagement in their learning.
