The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish. Your caring and enthusiastic approach will help nurture children's wellbeing and development, whether you're looking for flexible shifts or a consistent working pattern.
Responsibilities
- Support children's learning through play and planned activities
- Promote every child's wellbeing, safety, and development
- Observe and record children's progress accurately
- Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
- Create a fun, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
Skills and Experience
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) required
- Previous experience working in an Early Years setting as a Nursery Practitioner
- Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable
- Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months
Location and Package
- Based in Walsall
- Β£14.24 per hour
- Contract position starting 1st September 2026
