Smart Education is recruiting Qualified Primary & Secondary Teachers (QTS) to join a specialist independent school in Derbyshire dedicated to providing individualised education pathways for pupils aged 7–18 with autism and complex needs. You will work in a nurturing school that wraps therapeutic care and educational support around each child, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically in small, structured classes.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with additional educational needs/SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • Ability to deliver personalised and engaging lessons
  • Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid passport
  • Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
