Duration: Full Time, Part Time and Day to Day - Term Time ONLY

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm

Smart Education are recruiting on behalf of Primary Schools in Sandwell. There are several schools that require supply Teachers to work on a range of long-term, full-time positions. We are seeking qualified Teachers with previous experience and confidence working across KS1 classes.

On occasion, if you are working on a long-term placement, you may be required to complete the full class teacher role including planning and preparing. There may be occasions where schools will call on the morning and will require a teacher to cover one of their classes. If you are a qualified Teacher and do not want the extra responsibility of planning, marking and preparing, then a day to day or short term role will be perfect for you.

Job Requirements for this Teacher role:

  • Must hold a valid Child Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a school setting
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Ability to provide tailored support to meet individual student needs
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning styles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and other staff
